The process of making pisang rai is relatively easy. First you put water, salt, and pandan leaf into a pan and cook until it boils over low heat. The second step is to mix rice flour, sugar, water, and salt and mix well. When it’s done, dip the bananas one by one into the mixture, and immediately add them to the boiling pandan water. Boil until cooked and floating. When it floats, remove and drain then coat with grated coconut. To add taste and aesthetics, you can put liquid brown sugar on top.
