Bali is known as a place where dreams come true, offering a wide range of thrilling experiences for visitors.
One innovative adventure travel company called Para Fly Bali has introduced a breathtaking activity called paramotoring, which combines parasailing with an engine-powered flight. This unique experience has become a huge success with tourists, who are flocking to Biaung Beach to enjoy it.
Previously operating from Munggu Beach near Atlas Beach Club, Para Fly Bali has now made Biaung Beach its new home. The move has provided them with more space to operate and better wind conditions for flights, enhancing the overall experience. They are currently the only company on the island offering paramotoring.
Ayu Pujawati, the Operations Manager of Para Fly Bali, explained that paramotoring allows for takeoff and landing anywhere, unlike traditional paragliding, which requires a cliff. The company prioritizes safety, conducting regular maintenance checks on their paramotor engines and employing highly trained pilots for the flights.
International tourists, particularly those from Australia and Europe seeking adrenaline-pumping activities, are increasingly drawn to this thrilling experience. The company also aims to attract local enthusiasts to try paramotoring.
To participate in the paramotor experience, there are a few conditions to consider. The activity is weather-dependent, and participants must be over six years old and under 100kg. Good health and sobriety are also prerequisites.
Para Fly Bali offers paramotor experiences ranging from five to fifteen minutes, with prices ranging from IDR 600,000 to 1,200,000.
Biaung Beach, located just north of the popular resort of Sanur, is an ideal spot to unwind and enjoy the beautiful Bali sunshine. Its proximity to Tanjung Benoa, Bali’s leading watersports center, makes it even more appealing for adventure enthusiasts. Tanjung Benoa offers various water activities such as parasailing, banana boats, snorkeling, jet skiing, and more.
While Bali has long been associated with its stunning beaches in Kuta, Legian, Seminyak, and Canggu, recent travel trends indicate that tourists are increasingly seeking adventurous experiences beyond these popular destinations. This growing sense of adventure has led travelers to explore the eastern parts of Bali.
In Karangasem Regency, tourists can discover thrilling white water rafting along the Telaga Waja River. The rainforests and winding river landscapes of East Bali are considered some of the most impressive in Indonesia, making this adventure a must-try experience.
For those looking for a unique adventure closer to the beaten track, rafting and ATV day trips in and around Ubud are highly recommended. Both paragliding and river rafting have become increasingly popular in Bali, with the Ayung River being one of the top choices for rafting enthusiasts.
Bali’s tourism scene continues to evolve, attracting adventure-seeking travelers who are eager to explore the island’s diverse offerings beyond its renowned beaches. From thrilling paramotoring experiences to exciting water sports and river rafting adventures, Bali has something for every adventure lover.
